Canyon of river Lištica „Borak“

The river Lištica passes through a canyon, ie a narrow strait bordered by rocks and gorges, and is fed by several springs, the most famous of which is the spring "Borak". Upstream streams buy all surface water during heavy rainfall and melting snow from the mountain Čabulja, and finally flow into the river Neretva. Low water temperatures are maintained throughout the year, and thanks to drinking water and favorable capacity, Lištica can supply the wider area of the town of Široki Brijeg and surrounding settlements.

In the 15th century, the Kosača family ruled the area of Hum (Herzegovina) and was one of the most powerful noble families in the Kingdom of Bosnia. There are assumptions that the family was named after the village of Kosač near the Piva and Tara river. The influence and power of Kosača can be seen during the time of the first Bosnian king Tvrtko I.
